Demarco's 'I Love My Life' Concert Finally Conquers!
July 7 night and sometimes into the wee hours of this morning have been a memorable one for all those that still had the faith in the organizers never to scratch their back in such a manner they did a week ago.
On this day, the event had finally come and then all acts from Ghana and the invited Jamaican born Demarco were set for ‘a show of their life’.
It was a great show as everyone that performed on that stage did rock beautifully except for me the ‘Special Guest of Honor’ – Demarco. With reason being that the crowd needed the tempo to flow in that same rhythm Samini had raised it to.
Great night/morning and it will be remembered by Asase Aban, Lousika, Kaakie, Edem, Eazzy, Tinny, Asem, Kwabena Kwabena, Rex Omar, Samini and not forgetting guest appearances from Kwaw Kese and Trigmatic as they did send the crowd blistering with their composure, interactive acts and flow.
DJ for the night – Nii Ayi Tagoe, didn’t disappoint the meager crowd that turned up as well as did Abeiku Santana who did combine artistry as MC for the night and ‘aide-the mic’ assistance to almost all the performers.
Though the night saw few tingle from the sound, stage design, crowd turn out; which wasn’t pleasing but it wouldn’t stop what will go down in memory lane as one of the best worth for money show from a participant’s point of view.
